The Lower East Side has always been one of New York's great hospitality neighborhoods. The bars, restaurants, and people behind them have shaped the way this city eats, drinks, and shows up for each other for generations. We're incredibly proud to be a new chapter in that story.
Ms. Alice is a Lower East Side cocktail bar built around European aperitivo culture, on the iconic corner of Rivington and Allen Streets. Our bar program is precise and technique-driven with clarified cocktails, fat-washed spirits, carefully carbonated spritzes, and a martini range we've thoroughly enjoyed spending countless hours getting exactly right.
Our kitchen is run with that same intention. The menu is built around a raw bar and Italian-inspired share plates like our Bay Scallop Crudo with yuzu and green apple, Gnocco Fritto with prosciutto and stracciatella, Cacio e Pepe Fries with parmesan foam. It's food that belongs next to a cold martini at a bar you’ll never quite feel ready to leave.
Our room is anchored by a sculptural horseshoe bar with walnut paneling and brass accents. Large hangar doors open the space effortlessly onto Allen Street, with an expansive terrace above creating the perfect spot to watch the Lower East Side go by. Every detail has been considered, right down to our team, who are dressed by Nazario Parisi & Sons, an Australian label whose effortless, considered style feels very much at home here.
